1. About...
The textures included in this pack were made originally for Marathon: Resurrection by Jay Faircloth. Jay, being a good fella, donated his work to the M1A1 project, and hence, to the Marathon community at large.
Once I stopped smashing my head against the roof, I realized Jay's textures didn't cover all the wall bitmaps in the Shapes file. So I created the missing textures. These textures can be found inside the grendel and pid directories; plus the startscape, lava12 and water19 textures, located elsewhere.
2. License
By the power invested in us for all the time we spent burning our retinas in Photoshop and other programs, we hereby grant anyone the right to use all the textures included in this pack for their own Marathon scenarios as long as the following conditions are fulfilled:
- You shall give credit to the creator(s) of the textures that will be used
- You shall not modify in any way the aforementioned textures
- You shall never, ever use any of these textures for boring scenarios and/or texture packs with bad taste
Slackers who fail to comply with these conditions will suffer the wart of the W'rkncacnter, which involves a lot of physical and mental torture, starting by being forced to listen the complete works of Ricky Martin, twice.
3. Installation
Place the Revival PNG directory into the M1A1 directory and the revival_png.mml file into the Scripts directory. To uninstall, proceed the other way around.
